C4D: Communications Strategies
In the field of sustainable development, two factors are paramount: participation and empowerment.
We believe Communication is the key to achieving this.
Whether a single project, a national programme or an institution's new communication strategy, communication needs to be integrated into development policy from the planning stage. All elements of the project cycle can be aided by various forms of communication in order to engage, inform and influence stakeholders at every level.
Declan McCormack of Flooded Cellar Productions is a seasoned C4D practitioner with 20 years of communications experience. He has been influential in the design and implementation of communications strategies at all stages of this cycle. For years he has worked as a communications professional in the headquarters of major international organisations - both financial institutions and specialised agencies. But perhaps more importantly, he has also spent years of production and training in the field which provides him with the local knowledge to understand the needs and limitations of the grassroots information and knowledge exchange essential to successful policy implementation.
We believe it is that combination of experience that makes Flooded Cellar well positioned to take on an integrated communications strategy for long term sustainable development projects We have experience in several key areas of sustainable development which we list in the 'Areas of Work' section of the menu to the left.
