We provide audio-visual material as a presentation aid at conferences and workshops.

Lighting Africa 2008 The First Conference on off-grid lighting in Africa financed by the World Bank Group. Flooded Cellar is an active participant in this initiative. Declan McCormack filmed at this event and followed a Lao/Ugandan partnership as they won the $200,000 prize which will allow them to develop off grid lighting plans in East Africa

We also produce material for and help to deliver workshops :


First Mile Regional Workshop 2005 (Morogoro) - 'Look who's Talking' - shot in Babati District, Northern Tanzania. This film was shot, edited and shown to all the participants of IFAD's First Mile Project two days later at a workshop in central Tanzania. It was prepared with the knowledge that representatives from Nokia and Siemmans were due to attend the workshop and so aimed to play a part in helping to secure a PPP.

  



First Mile Regional Workshop 2008 (Morogoro) - 'Murumase MAC' - shot in Dar-es-Salaam, Zanzibar and Mufindi District Tanzania. As part of a training exercise with a Tanzanian journalist and communication officer - a report was produced in the days before the workshop and then presented to all participants of the project, development practitioners and experts, UN managers and decision makers, UN managers from Uganda and Kenya, plus managers from the international NGO, Traidcraft were present.
