In a response to the current land crisis in Kenya the pastoralist Masaai lifestyle is adapting by adopting ranching methods. Their market access services focused on the abattoir at Kikenyoke aim to improve income generation for the Masaai while supplying affordable hygienic meat to Nairobi's slum dwellers in Kibera.
